Lead Change
Bitcoin retook $81k. Chip stocks led the bounce. ETF buyers are back.
Why it matters: Here is the deal: stocks got the same chip news and crypto finally joined them. After a day of crypto skipping the rally, joining it says fear cooled a bit. The catch is tech stocks led and crypto followed, so crypto is the passenger here, not the driver.
Market Snapshot
Bitcoin retook $81k with majors up about 2% into the Fed decision. Stablecoin cash barely moved, so this looks like short term buying, not fresh money arriving.
What Prediction Markets Think
Traders are paying for higher odds into month end, with dip bets fading fast. It is positioning, not a promise that $80k holds.

1 Bitcoin retook $81k as an Asian chip rally spilled into crypto, with Pepe up about 9%.
If Bitcoin holds above $80k through the Fed decision, that would support demand returning. A drop back under $80k would show this was a relief bounce.

2 US spot Bitcoin ETFs pulled in $176M in a day, making it $286M over two days.
One green day does not fix the month, but two in a row starts to matter. October net outflows narrowed to about $26M, so the hole is almost filled. The inflow tells us how much money arrived. It does not tell us who bought, and a holder breakdown would help answer that.
If ETFs post a third straight day of inflows, that would support steady demand behind the $81k bounce. If flows turn red again, treat the bounce as thin.

3 The CFTC sued Utah over prediction market rules.
Washington is fighting states for control of event contracts. The lawsuit tests whether federal regulators or state courts set the rules for prediction markets. Think of it as a jurisdiction tug-of-war with real money on the line.
If the Utah court backs federal oversight, that would support fewer state blocks on prediction markets. If Utah wins early motions, expect more states to file their own cases.

4 Coinbase said an analytics vendor incident exposed contact data for a small subset of customers, with funds not impacted.
No system breach is good, but contact lists are what phishing crews want. Coinbase blamed vendor Amplitude and said its own systems show no unauthorized access. For users, the risk is not missing coins today. It is fake support emails tomorrow.
If Coinbase publishes how many accounts were affected, that would show the phishing pool size. Until then, treat any urgent crypto email as suspect.

5 BNY added XRP and RLUSD to custody with direct mint plans as Moodys gave RLUSD investment grade ratings.
This is plumbing, not hype. The bank that already holds RLUSD reserves now custodies the coin itself, which lets big clients hold and settle in one place. A rating does not mean people will use it. It does lower the excuse for funds that need a checkbox to touch it.
If BNY opens direct RLUSD minting with Ripple, that would support faster institutional flows. If minting stays manual, treat this as branding for now.

Risk Map
01 Mood is neutral, not convincedFear and Greed sits at 51. That is the market shrugging after a 2% bounce, not chasing it. |
02 Liquidity is thin under the bounceStablecoin supply barely moved while price jumped. Rallies without fresh cash fade faster. |
VIEW Bottom lineThe read: buyers are back for a day but cash on the sidelines has not moved yet. That flips if ETF inflows run for 3 straight days and Bitcoin holds above $80k. |
